I have a two room studio dead center of Ballard. I am seeking a roomate for one month, maybe more. I have gotten endless form letters from people sending them to every ad. I just need a roomate. Its 150 deposit to move in plus one month rent of 350. No credit check or hassle. why is this so hard? prefer female but will accept male who is not into hard partying and is somewhat quiet. Need to rent it now so email only if you need a place today and actually have all the money.
I saw your ad on craigslist... about the room you have in the dead center of ballard.
so, basically... this is a good news/bad news type of thing.
the good news is that i am really interested in moving to seattle in the near future,
the bad news is that it's probably not
gonna happen in 'a week' near future,
but maybe more like a month and a half,
two months.
anyway, i'll keep this short, because
at this point you're probably already
closing
the email, since it sounded like you're
pretty in need of a roommate right now.
but... i will say that i would make a
great roommate, and i've lived in portland all my
life and really want to find a new place to call my home.
i've been to seattle to actually
see it twice... and i really love it and i've been thinking since
that it would be a great place to start out anew for me.
i guess this comes down to asking if you
would be open to potentially considering me
if you find someone else for a month and it doesn't work out,
but still need someone
down the road for a month or two after that.
this is the first letter i've written
to anyone from seattle with a room, so i guess
this is the first step in my commitment...
or something of that sort.
