So my dad was testifying in front of the state legislature yesterday about some obscure land use laws. Since he's the state expert in land use laws.

(on top of being the person who drew the max line on the gresham map before it was built, and also drew the portland/gresham boundry)

anyway, there's a portland legislator's assistant who he was talking to, who he works with all the time, and the topic got around to me, and how i was looking for work, and how i was interested in politics (umm, actually not anymore, it makes me sick to even read the ny times)

but still, supposedly since this guy went to grant, and knows my dad really well. he can vouch for me, and i can have a door to politics held open with some feet.

and if that doesn't work, my dad told me drunk as we watched the mariner game last night, i can call 'the guy who's dad was tom mccall's chief of staff' and who goes to harvard getting a phd in politics', and he can vouch for you.

again, it truly is who you know.

i have no suits, although i scored a nice pair of black shoes on the trip to value village with bija.

and generally the idea of salem is not so appealling to me.

or politics in general. poli= a lot.

tics= blood sucking insects.

we'll see.

weekend cake delivery driver?

i'll go home and watch my three netflix movies now.

oh yeah, and i was cleaning out my room, and a certain person who reads this will be getting a package in a few days with some things. don't be creeped out.

then / again
